Ingredients
Cream Cheese: I prefer to use blocks of full-fat cream cheese.
Heavy Whipping Cream: Ensure that it is well chilled for an easy whip.
Powdered Sweetener: This is important for a smooth texture. Using a granular sweetener can make it gritty.
How To Make Keto Cheesecake Fluff
Actually, you can make this in five minutes at most. The only issue with this would be if you decide to whisk your cream the traditional way. It is actually possible but I suggest using an electric mixer in order to save on time and energy.
First Step:
Whip some heavy cream until soft peaks form in a stand mixer and transfer into another bowl.
Second Step:
Combine the sweetener with cream cheese until fluffy. Add ⅓ of homemade whipped cream and mix well.
Optional: You may add a few drops of vanilla extract if desired at this point.
Third Step:
Fold the remaining whipped cream into the cheesecake fluff mixture. When done, put them in serving bowls and enjoy them. They are perfect when topped with berries or eaten plain as they are.
Expert Tip: For an elegant look, put it into a piping bag with a star tip instead of spooning it in dishes.
What Else Can I Add on Top?
Primarily, you can just have your keto cheesecake fluff as it is without any add-ons. However, if you want to make it even more special, simply add some toppings.
- Chocolate – You can place some sugar-free chocolate chips or crushed chocolate on top. It’s attractive and helps to satisfy your sweet tooth too. Even a low carb chocolate sauce will do.
- Fruit Flavors – Whether you want fresh berries or my Creamy Lemon Dessert Sauce, either way you can’t go wrong. Just throw in a few fresh berries or pour little sauce over it. For an entire strawberry cheesecake taste throughout, mix strawberry puree into the cream cheese.
- Zest – Once in a while I like to put in a little bit of fresh lemon zest or lime zest for the citrus flavoring.
- Nuts – Now spread a few of those cherished nuts like almonds; walnuts even candied pecans onto the topmost part of this thing. Such crispy texture is divine.
- Coconut – Toasted coconut should be included for anyone who loves coconuts. Yum!
- Peanut Butter – For a peanut butter cheesecake fluff, just stir in one spoonful of peanut butter with the cream cheese!
This keto cheesecake light and fluffy will be fantastic with a number of ingredients on it. If you wish, include them all or choose various delicious toppings for the fluff.
Frequently Asked Questions
Must I Use Powdered Erythritol?
Definitely, the erythritol must be powdered and not granulated at all or else the texture will be very grainy and unattractive. If you choose to use granulated, it may turn out alright but I do not encourage this. Granulated sugar does not give me that desired result because my cheesecake fluff should always be extra creamy and fluffy.
Should I chill Keto Cheesecake Fluff before eating it?
You can enjoy your cheesecake fluff right away as soon as you’re done making it. Otherwise put in a fridge for few hours before eating. Often times, I will prepare it in advance then pull out of the refrigerator when we are ready to eat. Either way is okay with you because they work fine.
Does Keto Cheesecake Fluff Have The Same Taste As A Real Cheesecake?
Definitely yes! You’re basically getting a cheesecake filling minus the cheesecake crust in this simple fluffy treat. It tastes like other recipes for low-carb cheesecakes, which means it is velvety and super creamy. However, the difference comes in as far as sweeteners are concerned: regular sugar can be found in most traditional recipes while ours uses powdered erythritol instead because we wanted something low carb for our fluff-making needs.
